Hello onsmart readers!
Last year myself and my bestfriend, Andrew, took part in the
BritBallRun in memory of Andrew's daughter, Rose McGill. We had a
fantastic time, saw some great places, laughed all through the weekend
and met some wonderful people. We were blown away when the winners of
the 2007 BritBallRun, kindly donated their prize, entry to the
BritBallRun 2008, to RoseBuddies Auctions to help us raise further
funds for Rose's Tribute Fund.
Rose was an up and coming designer and was featured at the New
Designers Exhibition in June 2006. That same month the family was
devastated when Rose was diagnosed with a Grade 4 malignant brain
tumour. Sadly, in November 2006, just 5 months after her diagnosis Rose
passed away at the age of 22. You can read a little more about Rose and

Through this auction we are hoping to raise money for the Clatterbridge
Centre for Oncology on the Wirral where Rose received her radiotherapy
and chemotherapy.
The
10 day auction on eBay for entry to the BritBallRun for 1 car and 2
people began at 7pm tonight and will end at 7pm on Sunday 27th April.
Every penny of the winning bid will go to Clatterbridge Centre for
Oncology Charitable Funds and even better than that, eBay will double
the winning bid! This will mean that 200% of the final amount will go
to our chosen charity!
