We got our hands on the newest development by German tuning house SW Exclusive.
The filter pictured is the SW Exclusive Sports Filter, a newly developed performance filter for the fortwo and Roadster by SW Exclusive, in basic construction it's similar to the SW Race Filters available, but differs due to the fact this has a foam filtration medium held in shape by a stainless steel cage underneath.
It fits in the same way as the previous SW air filter using a jubilee clip on the air intake in the airbox. It's a very secure fitting due to the rubbery material SW have used to construct the filter, and shouldn't cause a problem. We'll be doing a full review soon after it's been in our test car for a few hundred miles.
One of the best parts about this filter is the price, it's got a retail price of £22.99, that's just TWO normal paper filters, but it doesn't look like a budget item, it's aimed at people who want good filtration, and better performance.
